About Paula Buffham

Paula gained her experience working in the hospital service from 1996 to 2005, with most of her time being spent in oral surgery. Her interest in orthodontics began in 1998 when she worked in Chesterfield and Derbyshire NHS Trust, but really blossomed after buying Park Lane Orthodontics in 2005. She was an active member of BDA Reading Section until 2020, as Chairperson for one year and then Treasurer, until she later stepped down

Paula has a passion for the delivery of outstanding patient experience and orthodontic care. She understands the importance of feeling confident and, using her education and expertise, will give you a smile that you’re proud to share.

Out Of The Practice

Spending her personal time creatively, Paula enjoys cooking when she is out of the practice. She can make her own sourdough bread and is enthusiastic about her artistic endeavours. Musically driven, she has sung since she was a child. She sang in various church and semi-pro choirs and enjoyed classical vocal and violin throughout school. More recently, Paula has enjoyed performing more contemporary music with Ben at various functions and parties, and is often heard singing in the surgery!

When she is not singing or baking, Paula loves the outdoors and the environment. Their garden, which she has recently redesigned, is home to the plants and veg that Paula likes to grow and bring to life. She also has two energetic dogs.
